We at 520 receive many requests to post local stage auditions. Because we are "Yes -men & -women", we have gladly honored those requests here.

Here's what we've gotten from local companies currently planning auditions:

*Oak Ridge Playhouse will hold auditions for it's season finale "Nunsensations: The Las Vegas Revue" on Saturday and Sunday March 17 and 18 at 2:00 PM. Roles are available for five women who range in age from 20's to 50's. All roles require strong singers and good comedians. The play is the fifth in the series of "Nunsense" musicals. Auditionees should bring sheet music for one verse only of a prepared song that shows off their vocal range and a recent photo or headshot. The Tennessee Stage Company will audition for the 2007 Shakespeare On The
Square on Sunday, March 25 from noon to 5:00 pm. The auditions are by
appointment only. To make an appointment please call the Tennessee Stage
Company at 546-4280. Please prepare two contrasting monologues of no more
than one minute and a half a piece and bring two resumes and theatrical
headshots if you have them. The auditions will be held at the Emporium
Building, 100 S. Gay Street, the home of the Arts And Culture Alliance. The
two plays to be presented this summer are “Much Ado About Nothing” and “The
Tempest.” Performances are July 12 – August 12 and rehearsals will begin on
May 29.
